The Giving Garden Sprouts to Life Even in the Winter

See that carrots and spinach are growing underneath the row cover in The Giving Garden.  The students built a Wicking Bed in the fall to keep the soil moist and warm beneath the white fabric within the hoop house.  The worms are cozy and satisfied.  Plenty of warm moisture for them to remain active in the soil.  We will have carrots and spinach ready to harvest and munch on in March for spring tastings!  YUM!
